Troubleshooting

Check print quality: Ensure the QR code is printed at minimum 300 DPI. Blurry prints won't scan.

Check size: Minimum 3x3 cm. Recommended 5x5 cm for table placement.

Check contrast: Dark QR on light background. Avoid placing on reflective/glossy surfaces without lamination.

Check lighting: Ensure the table has adequate lighting. Dim restaurants may need backlit QR holders.

Test with multiple phones: Try scanning with different phones (iPhone, Android) and different apps (Camera, Google Lens, WhatsApp).

Still not working? Regenerate the QR code from your dashboard and reprint.

File size: Images should be under 5MB. Large images load slowly.

Format: Use JPG or PNG. WebP is also supported for faster loading.

Dimensions: Recommended 800x600px. Very high resolution images are auto-optimized.

Re-upload: Delete the old image and upload a fresh copy if it appears broken.

CDN cache: If you replaced an image and still see the old one, wait 5-10 minutes for CDN cache to refresh.

Check WiFi: Ensure your restaurant has working WiFi. Share the network name/password near the QR code.

Check URL: The QR code should point to the correct menu URL. Test by scanning yourself.

Browser issues: Ask the customer to try a different browser or clear their browser cache.

Server status: Check our status page at status.dmeals.in for any ongoing outages.

Fallback: Keep a few printed menus as backup for connectivity issues.
