1Information We Collect

a) Account Information

When you create an account, we collect: full name, email address, phone number, restaurant name, business type, city, and optionally your business address and website.

b) Menu Data

All data you enter in your dashboard: dish names, descriptions, prices, categories, food type tags, food images, and offer configurations. This data belongs to you.

c) Analytics Data

When customers scan your QR code, we collect: scan timestamp, approximate location (city level only, no GPS), device type (Android/iOS/Desktop), browser type, and which menu items were viewed. We do NOT collect customer names, phone numbers, or any personal identity.

d) Payment Information

We do NOT store your credit/debit card details. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways (Razorpay/Stripe). We only receive a transaction reference and payment status.

e) Contact Form Data

When you submit our contact form, we collect: name, restaurant name, phone, email, business type, city, and message content.

  • To provide and maintain the Dmeals digital menu service
  • To generate and manage QR codes for your restaurant
  • To provide analytics about menu views, popular items, and scan counts
  • To process subscription payments and send invoices
  • To send service-related notifications (account setup, payment confirmations, feature updates)
  • To provide customer support and respond to your queries
  • To improve our platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats

⚠️ We will NEVER: Sell your data to third parties. Use your data for targeted advertising. Share your menu data with competitors.

We share your information ONLY in these limited circumstances:

Payment Processors

Razorpay/Stripe — to process your subscription payments

Cloud Hosting

AWS/Google Cloud — to store and serve your menu data securely

Email Service

SendGrid/Mailgun — to deliver transactional emails

Analytics Tools

Google Analytics — anonymized, aggregated website usage data

We may also disclose information if required by Indian law, court order, or government regulation. We will notify you whenever legally possible before such disclosure.

4Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

7Menu Analytics Data

When a customer scans your QR code and views your menu, we collect analytics to help you understand customer behavior. Here's what we track and what we don't:

Only the restaurant owner can view their own analytics. No other restaurant can see your data.

8Children's Privacy

Dmeals is a B2B platform for restaurant owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our customer-facing menu pages do not collect any personal data from viewers.

9Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you via email for material changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when changes were made. Continued use of Dmeals after changes constitutes acceptance.
